14. Reflecting on being ONE WITH EVERYTHING

Hello! Welcome to this sacred space … to this quiet moment …
and to a reflective, meditative time together!
I’m Bill Bauman … and I’m deeply honored
to be spending these few precious moments with you.
Let’s reflect now on … being ONE WITH EVERYTHING!
If we are at all spiritually oriented, we know that,
when we look at life through the eyes of spirit,
we see everything as blended together,
as bonded, unified, united—as ‘one.’
That’s in contrast to how we are looking through typically human eyes.
Through these eyes, we perceive not unity, but duality—
that is, we see everything around us as separate, or even opposites,
and, rather than being oriented to making ‘both/and’ choices about them,
we tend to make ‘either/or’ choices.
It’s another example of what we now realize is a generalizable phenomenon
—what we see, and how we see it, is more determined by the viewer
than it is by the object, person or ‘something’ that we’re looking at.
What we see, as well as how we see it, is determined almost exclusively
by the unique lens through which we’re looking.
Seen through the eyes of your heart, for example,
everything and everyone look beautiful, precious and loveable.
Seen through the eyes of your soul,
everything and everyone look luminous, light-filled and wondrous.
Seen through the eyes of pure light,
everything and everyone look like individualized rays of pure essence,
as delightful, playful, radiant expressions of the divine.
Yes, through these eyes—
all of which are thankfully custom-built into our human heart, soul and spirit—
we see ourselves as ‘one’ with everyone, ‘united with everything’
and ‘unified’ with life everywhere
We see everything and everyone ‘blended together’
in the creative dance of life
and celebrating the cooperative union of souls.
Let’s spend these precious moments, right now,
“being ONE” with everything and everyone!
Let’s forget, for the time being, the seeming reality of dualities and differences.
Instead, let’s live in our love-filled hearts! Let’s hang out in our light-filled souls!
And let’s occupy the world of our oneness-filled spirit!
Let’s recall that you and I are quantum and spiritual beings
having a human experience …
… that we are, first and foremost, non-existent presences (quantum),
clothed in the invisible garments of pure essence (spirit),
radiating out from us a vibrant, blessing filled light (soul)
and embracing life and all its expressions with pure love (heart).
What a “self” to be! What an extraordinary, exquisite blessing you are!
What a remarkable presence and gift to our human world you are!
Thank you for coming to this earth, this fanciful home of humanity!
Thank you for bringing your bigger-dimensional heart, soul and spirit
with you, so that all of us here could be blessed daily with your light,
filled daily with your love and embraced daily with your spirit!
Thank you for taking on a human form,
even embracing its seeming complexities and challenges,
and choosing to be here with and for all of us
as the heartful, soulful spirit of ‘oneness’ that you are!
Let’s spend our final moment or two
embracing everything and everyone without judgment,
honoring everything and everyone as beautifully unique,
loving everything and everyone as innately deserving,
uniting with everything and everyone as a radiant mirror of your self
and blessing everything and everyone
with your endless love, your penetrating light and your unifying spirit!
How wondrous it is that you are an embodiment of love, light and spirit
in this 3-dimensional dream called human!
How perfect it is that you walk this make-believe planet,
spewing forth your healing energies of love, your life-giving rays of light
and your endless blessings of spirit
to everyone and everything you touch!
How delightfully perfect it is that you have taken on your human form
with all its human idiosyncrasies, unique orientations and perplexing issues,
so that you could bless exactly those idiosyncrasies and issues
everywhere they live here—
in yourself, in others or in even collective humanity—
just by being here as the heartful, soulful and spiritual presence you are!
As we close today, may I thank you again for being a remarkable ‘you’—
a bigger-dimensional, quantumly created, essence-centered,
light-filled and love-radiating human being
whose very presence among us is a blessing beyond description
and a gift beyond measure—
simply because you’re here, embracing and uniting with us every day,
tangibly loving us, quietly blessing us, energetically healing us
and profoundly empowering us—
just by being here, just by being ‘you,’
just by being “one” with us!
