11. Reflecting on MAGIC

Hello! Welcome to this sacred space … welcome to this quiet moment …

and welcome to a short reflective and meditative time together!

to be spending these few precious moments with you.

Let’s reflect now on … being MAGIC!

Are you magical?

Does magic live, maybe even thrive, within you?

Does magic ‘magically’ appear in your life or world regularly?

Whatever your response to these intriguing questions,

let’s look a bit more deeply at magic itself!

Where does it reside … or come from? What is its source?

Why does it seem to be present in some people’s lives … and not in that of others?

Why does it respond to our wants or desires sometimes, but not at all other times?

My sense is that there is no simple or generalizable answer to these questions.

Nonetheless, I’ve noticed a peculiar phenomenon:

Magic tends to accompany a “calling.”

What I mean is this: When someone feels or receives a genuine calling—

whether a religious calling, a spiritual one or one of numerous other kinds—

some form of magic usually accompanies that calling.

For example, if you are ‘called’ to lead a life of service

or to promote a special cause,

the energy, focus and gifts necessary to accomplish that calling

seem to follow that calling and show up in your life.

That’s magic!

Well, chances are, you’ve been called, in some fashion or other,

to live your human life quantumly—

that is, as a quantumly grounded, quantumly empowered

and quantumly aligned person.

Because the quantum void is magic!

The quantum source is magic’s ultimate, most fundamental source.

You, remarkable quantum being that you are,

have magic running in your veins, pulsing through your energy system,

beaming its transforming light into your body

and penetrating every level of your consciousness.

Give yourself over to this quantum magic right now—within yourself!

Become deeply connected with this magic now—within you,

as it is present and flowing everywhere within you!

Re-introduce yourself to your quantum magic—

the very quantum magic that initially created you from nothing

and that, every day of your human life, keeps creating you anew!

Listen for a brief moment to your body,

as it’s now telling you all about its magical nature.

Then, turn your attention to your soul,

noticing how it shines a light of healing and nurturing

to wherever you might hurt or to whatever needs its magical touch.

Also, now, listen to your energy,

as it speaks through any and all your energy centers or chakras,

showing you how each of those energies is created from nothing

multiple times each day—magically.

Finally, find your heart and attune to its principal resident, love,

as love now demonstrates to you its magical rhythms

and shows you how those rhythms are infusing themselves

into your body’s waiting embrace, every day.

Indeed, you are a magical being, living in the magical kingdom of self,

leading a magical life—one filled with uncountable magical gifts.

Together, now, let’s open ourselves to experience this amazing magic!

Let’s picture magic not just a by-product of its deeper quantum source,

but as a literal presence, a full-time resident, living daily within us!

What does that picture look like to you?

To me, it looks like a blend of a wisdom-filled sage …

a kind, loving and generous source … and a powerful, creative giant,

all wrapped up into a singular presence

that wants nothing other than to impart every blessing and gift

that serves your calling and honors your heart.

Let’s sit together, in this magical moment, with this quantum magic—

whether it appears to us as visible or invisible, touchable or abstract—

and allow its magic to enter, step-by-step, into your awareness!”

Let’s even embrace magic, like we would embrace a deeply loved friend!

Let’s bond with its presence, deepen our friendship with it,

welcome our partnership with it, and express our gratitude to magic

for always “having our back’ and loving us unconditionally!

As you and I approach the completion of our brief time together today,

please accept my expression of gratitude to you

for being so beautifully magical

and for uniting so touchingly just now with your magical nature,

your magical friend, your magical source!

May your day be filled both with beautiful magic

and with the sense of wonder that comes from being aware
